Terms of Use

1. Not financial, tax or legal advice

Scores, projections, tax estimates, survival runway, payoff timelines, property estimates, AI explanations and similar figures are informational estimates derived from your records, connected-provider data, and published or observed rates that can change. They will not match your actual bank, lender, fund house, registrar or tax filing. Verify anything that matters with your bank, a qualified chartered accountant, a lawyer or a SEBI-registered adviser before you act on it. You remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.

Perovo calculates. AI explains. You decide. Deterministic engines produce numerical results. AI features help interpret context; they do not replace those engines or a professional adviser.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract.
• You may use most of the app with no account. Sign-in is required for cloud backup, Pro, connected investment sync, lending invitations, and some agreement / eSign flows.
• Keep your credentials and device secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account is for one person. Do not share it.

3. Your data and your responsibility to keep a copy

Perovo is local-first: your ledger lives on your device by default. If you uninstall the app, wipe the device, clear app storage, or lose the device without cloud backup enabled, that data is gone and we cannot recover it. Cloud backup is optional and available on Pro. Export a copy regularly from Profile → Backup & data. Connected features may send specific information to third parties as described in the privacy policy; that does not make Perovo a live cloud database for your day-to-day records.

4. Investment account connections

Perovo may allow connections to supported investment providers (currently Groww and Upstox where configured) for read-only retrieval of portfolio information. Perovo does not place orders, withdraw funds, transfer securities, or otherwise control the connected investment account. Provider availability depends on the provider’s API, permissions, region, credentials and approval requirements.

Market prices and other market information may be delayed, unavailable, estimated, or supplied by third-party providers. Perovo does not guarantee completeness or accuracy. Imported holdings become part of your local ledger for analysis; you remain responsible for verifying them against the provider.

5. Lending and rental documents

Lending documents. Lending features help you record informal loans between people and generate loan-agreement style documents, settlement / no-dues style documents, and related addenda from what you entered. These are convenience templates, not legal advice and not a guarantee of enforceability. Stamp duty, registration, witnessing and formatting requirements vary by state and by amount. Have a lawyer review any document you intend to rely on.

Rental agreements. Rental features help you record landlord / tenant details, rent terms, security deposit and lease period, generate an agreement document, optionally eSign, and link rent tracking. Jurisdiction-specific stamping and registration may apply. You are responsible for the accuracy of the terms you enter.

Perovo does not act as landlord, tenant, broker, legal representative, guarantor, collection agent, or property registrar. Perovo is not a party to any loan or lease you record. Optional eSign is provided through a third-party provider (Leegality) when enabled; a document integrity hash is a tamper check, not a digital signature under the IT Act by itself.

6. Property intelligence

Property intelligence combines details you provide with market evidence and location context to surface estimates, comparable listings, observed ranges, confidence and freshness. Asking prices and listing evidence are not registered sale prices, circle rates, or professional appraisals. Perovo does not guarantee property valuations or investment outcomes.

7. Payments

Eligible bills may initiate payment through UPI via your device’s payment apps. Payment confirmation in Perovo depends on the flow you complete in the app; Perovo does not currently settle bills through BBPS. Pro subscriptions and eSign credit packs are billed through Razorpay. Perovo never receives your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials for those charges.

8. Third-party services

Certain features depend on third-party providers, including payment processors, investment providers, mapping / property-data services, AI services, hosting, analytics, and electronic-signature providers. Availability, accuracy, pricing, permissions and processing are subject to the relevant provider’s terms and service availability. See the privacy policy for how data is shared for each category.

9. Acceptable use

• Do not use Perovo for anything unlawful, including money lending in breach of applicable law, harassment of a borrower, or laundering.
• Do not enter another person's data without their knowledge, or use lending invitations to spam.
• Do not attempt to break, probe or overload our systems, or to access another account's data. Responsible security reports are welcome; see the security policy.
• Do not decompile or redistribute the app or its release files as your own.

10. Free and Pro plans

• The free plan is usable indefinitely, with limits on some features.
• Pro is a paid subscription billed through Razorpay. Prices are shown in the app in Indian rupees and include taxes where applicable.
• Pro unlocks cloud backup and additional tools. Feature sets may change as the product evolves; we will not remove a paid feature without notice in the changelog.
• eSign credit packs, when offered, are separate purchases from the Pro subscription; see the refund policy.
• Cancellation and refunds are described in the refund policy.

11. Software distribution and beta status

Perovo is in closed beta. The Android build offered on this site is a sideload debug build, not a Play Store release. You install it at your own discretion after enabling installation from unknown sources. Expect bugs, and expect the app to update itself over the air. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

12. Availability and no warranty

The app and the optional cloud service are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation is accurate for your situation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perovo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost savings, lost data, missed payments, tax penalties or investment losses arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Termination

You may stop using Perovo and delete your account at any time from Profile → Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the app unlawfully. On account deletion, cloud data is removed within 30 days as described in the privacy policy.

15. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in India having jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially we will update the effective date and note it in the changelog; continuing to use the app means you accept the change.
